Country Fried Carnival
Country Fried Carnival is coming up on Saturday, April 25th, from 11 am to 4 pm. Make sure you order your presale tickets for this fun annual event. Flyers for the pre-sale tickets came home already. If you need another one, they can be found in the office. If you miss ordering tickets early, don't worry we will have the ticket booth open all day at the carnival. We are excited to do something a bit different this year for the carnival. Chili Cook Off, Bake Off, Pie Eating Contest, Seed Spitting Contest, Three Legged Races and Potato Sack races are just a few of the new booths we are going to have this year. We, of course, have some old favorites like the Haunted House, Football Toss, Milk Can Toss, Hockey Puck Shoot, Flying Chickens and Pan for Gold. Make sure you sign up for your classrooms booth to help run it during the day of....it's tons of fun!!
If you are a 6th grade parent or student, remember your booth is the Haunted House. Finally you get to help decorate the spooky haunted house and work in it on the day of the carnival. If you are interested in working the Haunted House, or helping to set it up, or tear it down, please contact Lisa Brosnan at lfuerst-brosnan@cox.net.
If you would like to help out in the ticket booth on the day of carnival, then please email Julie Roshardt at president@mhpta.org.
If you have a high schooler who needs some community service hours, please have them contact Dawn, the Carnival Chairperson at secretary@mhpta.org so she can schedule them to work at the carnival. It's a fun and easy way to rack up the service hours.
